Black Coast Estates is a family-operated project, with over 80% ownership held by the Barber family. The focus is long-term quality instead of short-term extraction.
The homes, the layout, and the way the community operates are shaped by one simple condition: the people building it are also part of it.
Homes within the community are owned by the family.
The outcome? Direct accountability for how the project is built and maintained over time.

The team is also involved in local initiatives, including improvements to nearby infrastructure and support for community facilities. The intention is to build something that fits into Playa Negra as it exists, and contributes to it over time.
